GuangXin Qian (Lao Qian) is a renowned artist in China and an influence in Arts. His paintings have been exhibited in many national and international museums as well as published in art magazines.

Insight.China offers a wide range of Chinese Culture internships, all of which are offered in scheduled programs or which can be tailored to your specific needs. All our programs will give you insight into this fascinating, millennia old culture.
Of course all our teachers are experts in their fields and will do everything to broaden your knowledge of the Chinese culture.

::Requirements::

Insight.China's culture internship programs are geared towards everybody who has an interest in all things Chinese. The main requirements are to have an open mind, enthusiasm, and be fluent in English. We welcome participants from all nationalities and backgrounds and we have many diverse opportunities available for you to choose from.

::Programs::

We offer programs related to traditional Chinese arts and crafts, traditional Chinese medicine, and Chinese cuisine, such as:

• Chinese calligraphy and painting;
• Chinese dance and drums;
• Traditional Chinese knots;
• Martial Arts;
• Mahjong and Chinese Chess;
• Chinese cooking and tea culture;
• Traditional Chinese medicine and massage;
• Tai Chi and Chinese philosophy; and
• Paper cutting.

::Living Conditions::

Normally, you will live with a Chinese family and accommodations will be upscale by local standards. Host families are generally part of the upper middle class. Apartments are usually equipped with heating, hot water, and are comparable to standard western accommodations. However, we would also be able to arrange private accommodation if you prefer. We address each application on a case by case basis.

::Life in China::

You will quickly find out that the Chinese are amongst the most hospitable people in the world. They will go to unimaginable lengths to make their guests comfortable and accommodate their every need. We can say without a doubt that you will be treated like royalty during your stay here.

::The fee::

We are proud to offer an affordable Chinese culture program complete with full staff support from the time you land until it's time to go back home. Our fees vary due to the fact that each program will be designed to your needs and requests, but the programs start at a basic cost of 195 Euros per week.
